Community Service

The Wykeham Collegiate girls are encouraged to do at least six hours of community service a year. These opportunities create an awareness of the needs of people less fortunate than themselves. It is hoped that their hearts will be stirred in such a way that outreach will become an integral part of their adult lives. Pupils visit old age homes and orphanages in the community. They also tutor disadvantaged learners in Mathematics, Accountancy, Business Economics and Biology. Old notes, stationery, toys, food and clothing are collected and donated to needy organisations.

There is an active Interact Club.
