The Wykeham Collegiate offers comfortable, homely boarding for girls from Grade 4 to Grade 12. Boarders come from all parts of KwaZulu-Natal, other provinces of South Africa and Swaziland. Many come from neighbouring states in Africa, such as Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia and Botswana.

The multi-cultural mosaic of girls from different cultures and countries is enriching for all of us and provides many opportunities for global learning and networking.

Our boarders say that the most important aspect of boarding is the forging of lasting friendships. When people live with each other they become friends for life. An individual grows in independence, and learns tolerance and understanding. Girls share their joys and their sad times.
