Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee of R300 per pupil is payable when submitting an application form.

Admission Interview
Before an offer of a place can be made the applicant is required to attend an admission interview with the Lady Principal or the Headmistress of the Junior School. No pupil is admitted to The Wykeham Collegiate without an interview.

Deposit
When offered a place by the school, a non-refundable deposit of R2000.00 (for boarders) and R1000.00 (for day girls) is payable. The deposit must accompany the Letter of Undertaking in favour of the school, which is required to be signed by both parents or guardians, or, in the case of one parent/guardian, that parent and an acceptable surety. The signatories are to be witnessed.

Bursaries
Limited funds are available in the event of a pupil requiring assistance. Parents requesting consideration for a bursary will be asked to complete a bursary application form to provide a confidential motivation. Applications must be submitted by the start of the second term for the following year.

Scholarships
A number of scholarships are available for girls entering Grade 8 level. For more detailed information select Scholarships.

FINANCIAL INFORMATION

Fee Concessions
A discount of 3% per annum is given for the payment of a full year’s fees, provided such payment is received at the beginning of the first term.

Payment Terms
Fees are charged quarterly and are payable in advance, on or before the first day of each term. Interest on outstanding accounts will be charged at 15.5% per annum. Extras are to be paid within 30 days of the date of statement.

Any parent who is experiencing problems with the payment of fees is advised to make an appointment to see the Business Manager.

Notice of Withdrawal
One full term’s notice in advance of the withdrawal date is required for both boarding and tuition fees.
