In July, Jennifer represented KZN Midlands Ladies Team at the Inter-Provincial Tournament and then went on to play for the SA Presidents U19A Team in an International Test Series in Mooi River, where she was named the best goal scorer of the series.
She has this to say about her experience:
‘We spent a week of mental and physical preparation for the tests which were to take place from 15-18 July. We trained hard during this time, getting used to different horses and learning to work as a team. Our tests were very tough, as were the Zambian girls we played against. They felt no pain! We ended up winning the series 3-0 with our last game being the most difficult. It was a wonderful experience and I learnt so much.’
