The Wykeham Collegiate accepts applications throughout the year, and for several years in advance of the year of entry. All girls seeking a place at The Wykeham Collegiate need to have an interview and an appropriate assessment, depending on the grade. To submit your application, or for any queries relating to the admissions process, please email

If you would like to learn more about TWC and all that it has to offer your daughter, contact us to organise a tour of our beautiful school.

There is no strict closing date for applications for the Junior School.

However, interviews and assessments are generally started early in the year for available places for the following year.

It is recommended that applications for the following academic year are submitted before the end of Term 1 of the year preceding entry.

The closing date for applications for Grade 8 is usually in the April of the Grade 7 year.

All Grade 8s entering The Wykeham Collegiate for the first time are required to have an interview and write entrance tests in Mathematics and English. The entrance tests are written in May of their Grade 7 year.

Applications for Grade 9 to Grade 11 are accepted throughout the year and placement is dependent on space being available.

When a girl is offered a place by the school, a non-refundable admission fee becomes payable:

  • Junior School Day Girl – R4840
  • Junior School Boarder – R7260
  • Senior School Day Girl – R7260
  • Senior School Boarder – R10450

Parents who reside outside of South Africa are required to make an additional deposit equivalent to one term’s boarding and tuition fee, and this will increase on an annual basis to match the termly school fee for the current year. The deposit will be offset against the balance of the girl’s final account from the school.
