APPLICATION INFORMATION
The Wykeham Collegiate accepts applications throughout the year, and for several years in advance of the year of entry. All girls seeking a place at The Wykeham Collegiate need to have an interview and an appropriate assessment, depending on the grade. JUNIOR SCHOOL APPLICATIONS
There is no strict closing date for applications for the Junior School.
However, interviews and assessments are generally started early in the year for available places for the following year.
It is recommended that applications for the following academic year are submitted before the end of Term 1 of the year preceding entry.
GRADE 8 APPLICATIONS
The closing date for applications for Grade 8 is usually at the end of April of the Grade 7 year.
Interviews are started early in the year and places are offered in May.
SENIOR SCHOOL APPLICATIONS
Applications for Grade 9 to Grade 11 are accepted throughout the year and placement is dependent on space being available.
OFFER OF ADMISSION
When a girl is offered a place by the school, a non-refundable admission fee, equivalent to a month’s fees (boarding and tuition for boarders) becomes payable.
Parents who reside outside of South Africa are required to make an additional deposit equivalent to one term’s boarding and tuition fee, and this will increase on an annual basis to match the termly school fee for the current year. The deposit will be offset against the balance of the girl’s final account from the school.
