* A recognised teaching qualification and appropriate academic degree.

Job Description

  • Teach class music to Grades 4 to 7.
  • Train and conduct a Junior School choir.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful applicant must:

  • Hold a relevant music and/or teaching degree.
  • Be a passionate class music specialist.
  • Have a minimum of three years’ experience teaching Junior School music (Grades 4 to 7).

  • Have experience integrating technology into music lessons.
  • Be an accomplished pianist, able to accompany Chapel, assemblies, concerts, and other school events.
  • Preferably play a second instrument.
  • Have a strong understanding of vocal technique and experience as a choir mistress.
